This workshop contains up to date, evidence based, scientific research information, for the doula, childbirth educator, maternal child health nurse, public health nurse, and peer counselor, who wants to increase their knowledge of practices that effect breastfeeding and breastfeeding education.   Proper latch-on techniques will be demonstrated, the effects of “just one” bottle will be discussed along with the health benefits of breastfeeding to mother and baby.

This is an excellent workshop for those wishing to complete their DONA Birth Doula Certification.

JM Birth Consultants endorses the Innocenti Declaration, and therefore expects quiet, fully breastfed babies “in arms” to be allowed to remain with their mothers in the meeting rooms.
